After doing our due diligence on several prospective realtors in preparation for putting our home in Odenton, MD on the market, we invited Betsy Albert to meet with us. At our meeting, Betsy provided us with a comprehensive binder of materials that covered the full panoply of information and data to market our home. After meeting with Betsy for approximately two hours, we were convinced she was the right person to retain. From the time I decided to move to Maryland from Vermont, Betsy Albert established immediate phone and e-mail contact with me. My Townhouse Sold Within a Week at the Listed Price!
From day one, Betsy took time to help me work though what needed to be done to make sure my townhouse was in the best condition for a quick and well-priced sale. She brought information on what had sold and what was listed, she had referrals for workers to paint, re-carpet and clean, and when I was able to find some resources, she added them to her list for any future work in the area. Plus, Betsy kept me up to date on what was listed and selling in my area that was comparable to my townhouse, so when the time came to get my townhouse on the market, the listing price was within the market prices in the area.
Betsy gave me great feedback on what to do with my townhouse. Then, when I had gotten the needed repairs and refresh done, she brought in stagers and a photographer. Betsy actually helped with the staging, too, and worked with the photographer to make sure every picture was from the very best possible angle.
At the end of the process, my townhouse sold within a week at the listed price.
Betsy was great at giving me guidance on resolving things identified in the inspections and was the perfect go-between with the buyers and their agent. The closing was incredibly smooth, and Betsy worked with the realtor at my new home to make sure everything transferred between the two title companies.
